I think it's news. Not the blog, but the letter within the blog. It is written by Rocco Rossi and is definitely newsworthy.

The letter is an orignal source letter not opinion, the opinion of the blogger is definitely not news, but why would the fact that the letter was put out not be news?

Not bias, it was newsworthy enough for the national post, I simply didn't realize that news is only news if it is presented by a specific sources, which coincidentily this story has been.

Is this rule written down anywhere?

Thanks for bringing it to my attention. FYI, I can't check every item every day. But, you are correct.....Blogs are not news....no matter who posts it.....it's gone.

I love how the nameless author equates calling for donations to no specific purpose with running attack ads in response to attack ads.

But I guess that's how they roll at the Conservative Post.
