White would not specifically say why it took so long to deport the man after the CBSA apprehended him, but noted it's not unusual for the acquisition of travel documents to delay removals.

I wonder if this has ANYTHING to do with this

The reff separates the two boxers and asks one what is 2+3?
The boxer answers 'Thursday'...
And the fight continues.

If they're that short all they have to do is give me a call. I'll be there with bells on and my big rubber stamp that says "RETURN TO COUNTRY OF ORIGIN"

Why don't we have a contest to fill the positions at the IRB. It'd be open to all Canadians who are not, nor have ever been a member of a political party or worked in Ottawa in any capacity.

What could be simpler and more democratic than letting average Canadians decide these assholes fate. They wouldn't be appointees so they wouldn't be beholding to any government and as we all know, common folk got common sense, unlike government appointed bureacrats.

All in favor say "AYE".

EH!

And what the hell, they couldn't let this person go for one more fling and let them round it off to 100?

Why are they so short to begin with? This is a manufactured crisis and a completely avoidable one. There are major reforms to immigration that are required and this 99 guy highlights what is gone wrong here. Simply put we can put all the police and boarder guards we want on the streets but if the system itself is running on autopilot strait into the rocks it won't mean a goddamn thing. There is lots of blame to go around here so the blame game is going to go nowhere while this situation spirals out of control. Real leadership is required here and is strangely absent. No one in the media or the public at large is bringing the issue to a head and no one in Parliament is providing real substantive solutions.

If Harper wants political capitol on the law and order issue he could get a lot of mileage out of this one but he need to act now.
