Good to see these girls were prepared for anything, knowing how bad it is on the Red Deer River around here, I wonder if they even had shoes.

Pretty foolish if you ask me.

I've been tubing on the Pembina lots of times.

If you don't get out after the first bend, the river goes from about 3 feet deep and 20 wide to a real river, so if you plan on going past that point, you should be prepared, not be in bikinis and sunglasses.

You should always be prepared, no matter what. Rivers are SO dangerous. Ridiculous to head out with nothing.

Q always laughs at me because I pack enough food on a day trip to last two days, and I keep everything in the lunch cooler but the kitchen sink (extra newspaper, 3 or 4 lighters, etc., plus a full clothing bag with rain gear, extra socks and hoodies). Short of blankets and a tent, we'd survive a night without issue.
