Good. If law abiding citizens in the Detroit area actually teach the criminal element a lesson in attempting to victimize them, maybe the criminals will go back to solving the crime issue by killing eachother.

absolutely. But then you get cases like the drunk woman who had an accident and was banging on a door to call police and was shot thru the door. There's got to be a limit somewhere, ie the homeowner has to be in actual danger.

And it creates an arms race where one time robbers, now become murderers and then rob your house.

You make it sound like this was not already happening.

It's interesting, sitting on the river bank in Windsor and listening to the gunfire across the way. It's like living next to Mogadishu ... in many, many ways, actually ...

Lucky for the people of Detroit the game theory perfect reaction generally doesn't happen.

Take the data, 30 justified shootings in a year. Are you telling me that fewer than 30 non criminals are murdered by criminal in Detroit?

If anything thanks to state and city laws the population is generally more unarmed than you would find else where in the USA.

It would seem that the Democratic Party's "Model City" is finally grinding itself into the powder of yet another failed social experiment despite being declared dead in 1974.

But to be honest I'm surprised it took this long for the people of Detroit who've been scammed and used for years by social engineering assholes to finally start pushing back. No more, poor disadvantaged criminal. Now it's just no more criminal, period. [B-o]
