I liked that he got a lot more screen time than FMJ. It let his character develop a bit more.

And I forgot how hot Kristen Cloke is.

He was the quintessential Marine Drill Instructor. I especially liked his work on mail call. It was on the History Channel from 2002 to 2009. Viewers could write in questions about military subjects and the Gunny would go on location to consult with experts and conduct live fire demonstrations when possible. Quite possibly the greatest military information show of all time. He will be missed.
