Pardon me. I got her nickname wrong. It isn't "Shirley Temple". It's "Shirley Temper", and there's an interesting post on the blog that gave her the label describing how his readers were able to inject truth into the mainstream telling of this story.

The IDF says the kid was throwing stones. I suspect that arm cast is about as real as the rubber bullet wound was that Shirley's mother was trying to sell on the previous link.
