All I can say is I have had similar issues with the CFC. The law is so complex and full of contradictions that you get different advice depending on WHO you talk to at the center.

I can't wait until bill 301 gets passed. Some of this shit will stop.

The lesson here is don't register your guns. If they're off the books then keep them that way.

Unless I have missed something, there is no mention of what the two guns are. Therefore, there is no meaning to the story and it appears to have no purpose except to generate sympathy for this guy. Information please!

Owning firearms in Canada is like pushng a stone up an endless hill because of these bureaucrats and asshole politicians.

I own a number of firearms, and have never had any problems! How about yourself?

And you are correct there. I own guns because I have a use for them--I hunt! I don't wish to use them for anything else. I have no need to practice my skills against Clint Eastwood, shoot my neighbours pit bull or go CC to protect myself against my fellow man! Wow, I must be a real wimp! However, my 12 gauge is quite a fine weapon vs. deer, ducks, chickens and bears. Try it, ya might like it!

umm ok thanks for the info. And in case you don't know, I also have several shot guns so why don't you take your attitude and keep it next to your shot gun, locked up.

This article clearly outlines his struggle to get his now prohibited class of firearms (due to the end of grandfathering as per the FA), registered.

All my firearms are locked, unless in use. By the way, do you hunt or shoot skeet etc? The shotgun is a very versatile, unless one is shooting across large fields. Then, well, no!

Actually, the article states he is having trouble, but provides too few details to be worth anything more than a headline.

lol.

The fool who never defends his fellow shooters is in the same boat to the Romanian in the warsaw ghetto. A quick look at gun control in Brittan shows that the side who wants control for just a little more safety will never be satisfied.

Amen, brother. That's why I'm a Life Member of the NRA and as soon as the check clears I'll be a Benefactor Member. Gotta put my money where my big mouth is.
