Stupid stupid stupid. I almost wish now that the Habs go on to win the Stanley Cup with this coach just to shut those idiots up and good.

That's the best thing that could happen because the lambda fan doesn't care who the coach is and what language he speaks, he wants his team to win. That anglophobe thing is not coming from the fans. It's coming from the media and the politicians who are attempting to restart the separatist movement since the Bloc imploded last May 2nd. Here, even sport reporters succeed in talking about sovereignty between their eval of 2 hockey games.

Wouldn't make any difference to the morons. Al MacNeil won a Stanley Cup for them and they still turned in hatred on him.

Fans everywhere are awful in general. Habs fans, for a large variety of reasons, just happen to be more awful than most of the others. 8)

More on this...
Quote:
A pair of Quebec nationalist groups are planning a protest at an upcoming Montreal Canadiens game.

The small groups, Mouvement Québec français and Mouvement Montreal français, intend to make themselves heard at a Jan. 7 game against the Tampa Bay Lightning.
