No, I don't have a problem providing air support for Muslim troops, because I doubt any Muslim nation in the region is up to the task all by themselves. Even a 'coalition' of Muslim nations would be dicey.

You're making a joke, right? You do realize that's impossible, don't you? To eliminate ISIS will take boots on the ground, many of them and ones that are willing to fight. And then, if conditions remain the same, another group with the same ideology but a different name will spring up. How has it worked trying to eliminate the Taliban? The US was in Iraq for years, yet here is ISIS.

Iran is completely capable of managing the situation.

I follow Obongo myself. I'm just under no illusion that bombing alone can defeat ISIS, and it certainly can't defeat the ideology that goes along with it. To defeat that ideology we have to make common cause with Muslims that are also opposed to that ideology, instead of driving them into its arms.

I, for one, commend the Western world for actually not bombing the fuckhell out of Iran despite that being what the media circus was leading us to believe. Avoided it so long that a new enemy appeared.
