The ultimate solution here is for the FN to move off of the reserves to places with decent water treatment facilities.

But, of course, that common sense idea is racist so the correct answer will be the standard answer of doing a bunch of preening for the media, some hand wringing, and ultimately accomplishing fuck all because the problem is the reserves cost more than they're worth and no one really gives a fuck about solving the problem.

solving the problem.

Sounds like more money will solve all problems.

A water treatment plant for each house !

Linky no worky. I'm assuming this is about the Natives as usual. If so the two main problems are the same as they've always been. One, the Natives are living in a marshy area where the water is naturally dirty and unhealthy to ingest. And two, even when the government trains them to operate the water purifying system they don't bother to do so. Or whoever is trained gets fired for ending up on the losing side of the reserve politics. Or, sadly, goes on a drunken tear and the equipment freezes up in winter and is basically destroyed. Take your pick. The government lives up to their part of the deal but for whatever reason the Natives drop the ball on their end.

Again, the correct solution is to put an end to the reserves and let the natives finally just move to a decent place to live.

This country isn't interested in long term permanent solutions to anything. This is just for more misdirected and purposely manipulated white guilt to keep the multi billion dollar money train of Native affairs chugging along as per what's basically a Canadian tradition.

Whether unsolved murders of Native women or systemic poor living conditions, state sponsored racism is a Human Right violation in the highest form.

Canada likes to point fingers about human right abuses without realizing they are standing in front of a mirror...

Compare the lack of results proportionally by population, there are far fewer Native citizens than the rest of the population in Canada. Compare the "active" files vs. inactive.

Maybe better leadership to allocate resources accordingly would help.

You should really pull your head out of your ass, the lack of oxygen is obvious with every post of yours.
