Russia-Sweden scoreless in the first period. Not as intense a game as I would have anticipated but it's early.

Our Canadian Juniors did exactly what we hoped they would do against the Swedes yesterday - they played stand-up hockey. Dominique Ducharme's goalie change was the turning point of the game and Hart did what he had to do to keep the score in favor of our kids. Off to the Gold Medal round for Canada.

And, the Russian kids won their Bronze Medals in OT against the Swedes who once again came up short.

Good to see someone else posting the slightly more awkward way. I was feeling lonely! Not the same when not everyone is here to banter about the game.
