What's with the dumb question? You're making an Illogical leap. The US Left is nothing like the Communist USSR. It wasn't the "Left" that motivated the Cold War, it was the Communist USSR. There's a hell of a big difference.

How does a huge crowd of people barely able to express anything other than cliche, intolerance and repeating the speakers chant of "return to God and national honor", held at a National Monument bedecked with flags and national symbols NOT equate to a 'Nuremburg Rally'?

What, you're proud that you created Him? How do you get to proud of your God? You mean as in "my God is better than your God?"

What context? You said you're proud of your God. So what's the context required for that statement?

Denny, I have a serious question for you. Do you consider yourself a Patriot?

Well have an honour discharge from the U.S. Army and U.S.
Coast Guard.
The red, white and blue has flown in my yard for 40 some years.
Have never failed to vote.
If asked we'd go into military again. Don't think they are interested in us old folks.
Do I love this country? Yes.
Now some of the people in D.C. are a different subject. Feel they are heading in the wrong direction.
We'll let you see the facts and be our judge.
Are we a member of the Tea Party? No.
Are we a member of any party? No.
We ask nothing of this country. It has been good to us.

No Canadian would respond in such a shallow, hateful manner.

And you're lecturing to us what it means to be Canadian? Too funny, Zeke, too funny.

Communism wasn't left? The Union of Soviet Socialist Republics?

There's ultimately degrees on the spectrum - Canada was on the left during the Cold War too. Obviously not to the same extreme.

The other thing that is always left out of ideological issues is the form of government or political system that interprets/projects the political philosophy. Some socialist states, like the USSR under Stalin, had a totalitarian dictatorship (and a different strain of communism, Stalinsm) which is the form of government. You can, for instance, have rightest dictatorships in the same manner you can have liberal democratic socialist states like Canada.

The political system and its inherent tenets plays a significant role in how the state operates.

I know you don't like me.
I know that on this forum you can curse me all you like.
And, that's OK if it pleases you
Putting all of this aside for one moment.
Please explain one statement below.
