$1:
The ministry concluded that the bones could not be directly linked to Unit 731. It said the remains were mostly of non-Japanese Asians and were likely from bodies used in "medical education" or brought back from the war zone for analysis at the medical school.

yeah yeah, just keep denying everything.

Unlike Germany Japan doesn't have the guts to admit what they did wrong. The keep trying to say "we weren't really that bad".

I admire Germany for having the guts to admit what went on. The Japanese however constantly try to weasle their way out of admitting the truth.

That's why "we" don't blame the Germans as a whole. "We" blame Hitler and his people, not "The Germans". He didn't win. We did. He didn't succeed. "We" survived and gotten better. He is dead. And so are his ideologies.

Not quite. There's a still way too many neo-naizs around for anybody's liking.

The point Tiger was making Brenda was that there is a collective acknowledgement in Germany that some bad shit went down during the war.

Japan, as a asociety, hasn't done that.

Exactly, which is the reason the normal people (not talking about the neo-nazi's, who are, imho, in the same category as any fundamentalist) just don't blame "The Germans". It has only been 70 years, so a lot of resentment still could have been there. But there isn't. Germans are welcome in The Netherlands and not being looked at weird because of the war. They are being condemned for their obnoxious behaviour, but hey, so are the English

The investigation begins Monday at the former school linked to Unit 731, a germ and biological warfare outfit during the war. Shadowy experiments conducted by the unit on war prisoners have never been officially acknowledged by the government but have been documented by historians and participants.

Don't these guys play video games? Don't they know all they'll find is a labyrinth of catacombs infested with zombies and mutated zombies?
