Wait, we are gauging his performance on how many speeches he makes? Ever thought that he is working instead of giving pointless speeches telling everyone what they already know, that the economy is hurting.

So the media is angry that Harper isn't wasting time with telling people the obvious?

Also, when did editorials become news?

That's probably because a press release is a statement of fact or other newsworthy item, whereas the "NEWS" you are submitting is a personal opinion which is an assessment or evaluation of something. An opinion is not a fact, because opinions are either falsifiable, or the opinion has not been proven or verified.

I donno, ask ridenrain. He posts about a dozen National Post editorials a week.

Edit: Nevermind, I take that back. Can't substantiate it.

Methinks thou doth protest too much. The sheer quantity of CF press releases that you post leaves little doubt that you are pushing an agenda of your own.

And if they were truly newsworthy they would be picked up and reported on more objectively by the media.

You in someone's pocket, Hack?

See we don't complain Streaker because those are actual varifiable news articles. And an article that, for example, explains that they are purchasing 1300 new trucks is not propaganda. That is fact backed up by government documents. Its a simple news release that a department of the Canadian government has made a large capital purchase.

Your article on the other hand is simply the opinion of the writer and as an editorial is not a news article. Wether one disagrees with it or agrees with its premise is not what is up for contention here. It is that this is an opinion piece that is somehow trying to equate job performance to the number of times the PM stands in front of a microphone.

Also, the fact that I disagree with this article in now way shape or form implies that I support all that Harper does. I can't say that I align myself with any of the leaders on the Hill at the moment. I just dismissed the articles premise because it is a ridiculous way to rate any of our politicians at any time.

Don't blame Harper. He's one of the few decent PMs we've had... Blame all those globalist/socialist punks pushing liberal trade with China, Japan, EU...etc...

I'd bet your one of the blokes that has a grin on your kisser as you drive past all those hardworking, laid off big three workers in your Toyota/Acura/Nissan or whatever rice rocket you liberal turds are driving now...
