It's money. Pure and simple, money.

The Liberals didn't sound this compassionate when they were going use the coalition to force Dion on the west. Iggy has a lot more rubbet chicken events to do to make us forget that he signed and supported that document also.

And your just looking for an excuse to hate. There was zero mention of Iggy asking for money. Saying that the responsibility was on the liberals to pay more attention.

That and members of any party are pretty much forced to vote or sign certain things depending on the will of the party leader or your out on your butt. I think that Iggy's and Harper's actions speak louder then papers they may have been forced to sign at an earlier time.

That and Iggy was in a spot to enforce the collation but he declined from it. I think it's fairly clear he's not in favor of it.

You make up youre own mind.
The Liberal MP I know in BC are either retiring (Fry) changing to provincial (Black) or just scraping by (Ujjol and Daliwal).
And BC is the most Liberal friendly of all the western provinces.

Yep and I commend him for it. Frankly if the liberals proved they cared about the west and were willing to include us more in their cabinets and budgets I would vote for the party if they came up with a good platform at election time. Especially if I thought my vote would result in a minority government.

What are you smoking? As long as the Liberals had support (AKA seats) in the West, they had cabinet members out here...Lloyd Axworthy, Ralph Goodale, Ujjal Dosanjh, Anne McLellan ring a bell? All senior federal cabinet ministers in important departments...

you notice it seems like only the media is concerned about what iggy has to say ? wonder when was the last time another opposition leader got that much press ? just for talking .

but realistically the west is the least likely place for the liberals to make any gains , if you look thru the last elections results you will notice the liberals came 3 rd in just about every riding in saskatchewan . they couldn't even beat the ndp there . so how do they plan on winning actual seats there ? i don't see how or the likleyhood of that .

Harper got lots of press while in Opposition, or perhaps you don't remember his meetings with Dubya while he was in Opposition, or his steadfast support that we fight in Iraq, or any of dozens of other times when he opened his yap.

Take off your blinders...

Speaking of which..

Poor BC-Liberal MP Sukh Dhaliwal must be furiously writting letters in support of all the gangsters that have come to light recently.

Quote:
Surrey Liberal MP Sukh Dhaliwal has written to a U.S. District Court judge on official House of Commons stationery in support of convicted international drug trafficker Ranjit Singh Cheema, The Vancouver Sun has learned.

I wonder how well the members of his riding feel about this.. I mean the ones that arn't gangsters.
