That's the part I don't get. The seeds are ready available and it's all hydroponic anyways so that takes the actual growing location right out of the picture. The only difference really is the level of punishment if caught.. and BC has the weakest drug laws in Canada and the US.

Might that have a connection to Vancouver's on-going drug war?

Perhaps there is a connection, although its suspected its the Mexican Cartels. and to answer your question Chagrin, I think its growing practices, they grow it differently in BC than elsewhere. I'm not really up on my pot anymore, perhaps if this was 10 years ago, when I was a college stoner, I'd know more.

It's not.

It's better bacause of the level of THC it contains.

Just like any other crop it has been cultivated over the years for desireable traits. And methods of farming also affect these levels.

But Mark Emery was selling the seeds and everything else is hydroponic so as long as the water, plant food and light timers are the same, it could be Longbeach or Winnipeg for all the plant cares.

Trust me, you don't want Mexican weed. Or, for that matter, even weed from a lot of northern Canadian cities. Either you get shit quality, or you get weed that's been rolled in meth.
