Youth group in DC for March for Life rally attacked

"WASHINGTON - A youth ministry group visiting D.C. for Friday's March for Life rally says its members were attacked by a group of teens Wednesday night near the metro."

$1:
The youth group visiting from Fort Worth, Texas says they are familiar with where they are staying in Southeast, D.C., because they have stayed at the Assumption Catholic Church for the past three years. But it wasn’t until Wednesday night that they’ve ever had an issue.

The violent encounter was enough to make the ministry group reconsider their routine while staying at the church. The attack lasted for about 20 seconds, and in that short amount of time a group of teens was about to do some serious damage.

"Broken nose, fractured eye socket, the other adult leader as far we can tell some type of concussion, he just remembers having dinner details are fuzzy after that," said someone familiar with the groups conditions.

Two adult chaperones and 22 teens got off at the Congress Heights Metro stop in SE DC, and they started the mile walk back to the church when one of the adult chaperones in the back of the group was attacked.

The groups attempted to help the chaperone, but they were met by the teens with a knife. The victims received help by a nearby firehouse, and they say despite the scare and physical injuries they'll still be out Friday on the National Mall for the March for Life.

As of Thursday no arrests had been made in the case.

ABC deletes Trump’s March for Life reference in its online transcript

"In an interview with ABC News that aired earlier this week, President Donald Trump complained to anchor David Muir about the mainstream media’s lack of coverage for the March of Life."

$1:
When Mr. Muir asked if Mr. Trump could hear the protesters from the progressive Women’s March on Washington from the White House, Mr. Trump responded, saying:
“No, I couldn’t hear them. The crowds were large, but you will have a large crowd on Friday, too, which is mostly pro-life people. You’re going to have a lot of people coming on Friday. And I will say this, and I didn’t realize this. But I was told. You will have a very large crowd of people. I don’t know as large or larger. Some people said it will be larger. Pro-life people and they say the press doesn’t cover them.”

Mr. Trump boldly referenced the March of Life, which his Vice President Mike Pence will attend, and correctly said it received little to no air-time on the nightly news shows. A report by the Media Research Center released this week found the major television networks gave the Women’s March 129 times more coverage than last year’s March for Life.
Yet, surprisingly (or maybe not) the entire exchange about the two marches was edited out of ABC’s official transcript of the interview.

Maybe it was the doing of lazy intern, a faulty computer program or perhaps, more intentionally, a newsroom bias against the March for Life.
Either way, it proves Mr. Trump’s point. The press just doesn’t seem to want to cover it.

Oh but the MSM is completely transparent and doesn't slant anything in it's stories.

This would have never happened if these teens had been aborted?

Alert: This is obviously a tongue-in-cheek comment and I apologize in advance.

Any pity or mercy for the extra 43000 already-living people that are expected to die per year when the ACA is gutted for good? My guess from how well I know you know is that the answer is "no, and they deserve it for voting wrong".

This one for you as you requested, Mr. "Pro" Life:

http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/opin ... story.html

$1:
Now that President Donald Trump is in the Oval Office, thousands of American lives that were previously protected by provisions of the Affordable Care Act are in danger. For more than 30 years, we have studied how death rates are affected by changes in health-care coverage, and we're convinced that an ACA repeal could cause tens of thousands of deaths annually.

The story is in the data: The biggest and most definitive study of what happens to death rates when Medicaid coverage is expanded, published in the New England Journal of Medicine, found that for every 455 people who gained coverage across several states, one life was saved per year. Applying that figure to even a conservative estimate of 20 million losing coverage in the event of an ACA repeal yields an estimate of 43,956 deaths annually.

Why don't you just admit already you really don't give a fuck about anyone or anything and that you only really do this because of the way it makes you feel when your ideological team "wins" whatever the fuck it is you're constantly agitating for? :?

Given that the poorest people who are required to buy insurance under ACA also have to take the cheapest $10,000 deductible option then the fact is that most of these people are not going to have access to health care when the first $10,000 in annual expenses has to come out of their pockets.

The actual truth here is that while these people may be forced to buy insurance it is insurance that they'll never be able to afford to use.

Effectively speaking it isn't health insurance at all.

It's just a tax on poor people.

They aren't pro-life. They're not even pro-baby. They're pro-birth because their idiot ideology and religion has brainwashed them into believing that being coerced by force by the state into having an infant that they aren't financially or personally able to take proper care of is the best punishment possible for the evil act of having sex outside of marriage. They don't care about anything except the bullying thrill of having the heel of their boot across the throat of anyone they don't like.

Well...

I don't give a fuck about the 43,956 imagined people you, David Himmelstein and Steffie Woolhandler have pulled out the Progressive butthole. They don't exist. Why do you care so much about imaginary people?
