This is going to get messy, do I think the feds breached a pile of rights? maybe..police refusing to testify? wow...

It's an extradition hearing, not a criminal trial. All they have to prove is the US has grounds for extradition. IIRC, Canadian police don't have to testify to the US attorney's case.
