Of course it is, I was making that comment a few weeks ago when the initial story was posted.

Good luck getting elected with a 'new tax' campaign.

Funny, just this morning I read theat the Liberals are coming up in the polls adn teh Conservatvies are dropping. Oh, here it is:

Canada's Liberals lead Conservatives in new poll

Quote:
OTTAWA, April 22 (Reuters) - Canada's opposition Liberals have a narrow lead in public support over the governing Conservatives, a poll released on Wednesday showed.

The Harris-Decima survey, published by Canadian Press, puts the Liberals at 32 percent, the Conservatives at 29 percent, the left-leaning New Democrats at 16 percent, the Greens at 11 percent and the separatist Bloc Quebecois at 9 percent.

OOOOHHH now I get it. When the polls show the Liberals ahead, they are accurate and the Conservatives are doomed. But when they show the opposite, polls are useless for predicting the outcome of the next election.

And to think that I had it wrong this whole time. How silly of me to think that polls can be right either way, no matter which side they show to be leading.

You're a joke.
