It's a religious school...if that's what they want. If it were a public school I'd be against it.

It's about funding, J. Taxpayers select "Public" or "Catholic" on their municipal property tax forms and either the public or the Catholic board gets their tax dollars. So a lot of Catholic boards want to encourage Muslims and Hindus to choose "Catholic" when they make their school choice to get those tax dollars.

In the Catholic Schools I went to God help if you suggested anything that wasn't 100% Catholic. If you weren't Catholic you had to act Catholic. It looks like they changed one whole hell of a lot.

Exactly.

Although it kinda makes you wonder if they're gonna import a couple of Shaykhs with rulers to slap the Muslims up the side of the head, just so they don't feel left out.
