See that girl in the picture. She's a hermaphrodite but you're not allowed to use that word anymore with her because now it's a slur like the N word, or at least, so she says. I imagine she shares this 'Progressive" PC thought mode that other uncomfortable words like gender needed to be redefined to fit into the agenda. So yeah, the way the word 'Gender' is starting to be redefined for use is to describe characteristics traditionally thought of as male or female and the nuance in between.
