Au contraire! They are actually building in known fire zones, willingly!
But that's not what I said.
Sorry, yes, but my point was that they rebuild homes flooded in flood zones so they can get flooded again next year; now they are building homes in fire zones that get hit regularly with wildfires. In Alberta, we actually had to legislate that homes couldn't be rebuilt in a flood zone.
But insurance companies still insure them.
I too would think that insurance companies would not insure them because of that fact. But they do.
Assuming people even carry insurance on them.
