Well, given Harper's desire to join in the 'fun' in Iraq in 2003, it shouldn't be too hard too sell him on something that stupid either.

People can desire and want to their hearts content, but the Canadian Military cannot get involved in another war so soon after Afghanistan.

Well, back then Iggy was an academic, not an elected politician. Big difference.

If we are going to travel back in time to what politicians did before they were politicians, then its time to start labelling Harper a separatist, what with his little Firewall BS and all that 'wonderful' work with the NCC.

Who cares about Dion, I never voted for him.

And you should check Parliament, Iggy was elected in 2006 and again in 2008. Therefore, he's an elected politician. Unlike Harper's cabinet buddy Michael Fortier, who was appointed to the Senate, just so he could sit in the cabinet. Too bad he couldn't win his seat in 2008...got any more gems?

Everyone knows it the Desmarais Power Corp that pulls the Liberal's strings... Chretien didn't want into Iraq 'cause his son-in-law Andre Desmarais had too much money invested in TotalFinaElf.... TotalFinaElf had a sweet deal with Saddam.... :D :D :D :D

Not to mention the millions that Maurice Strong was making off the money for oil scandal.
Keerist. Scratch a scandal and out pops a Liberal. :D
