Imported children's pain medicine now available in Alberta pharmacies

Just in time to cover the shortage of medications, back in November.

And with 5 bottles purchased per child in Alberta, I'm sure they won't expire before they are used.

DrCaleb DrCaleb:

They've already mostly done it, with most rural constituency boards having been taken over. The urban boards that don't switch over before the election are going to change after the election I'd bet too.

If they had gotten these pain meds in the fall when there was a severe shortage, there was a good chance they would have been. But now, with shelves full of pain meds, I'd bet almost all of it will go to waste.

Danielle Smith discussed COVID charges 'almost weekly' with justice officials, according to leaked call

$1:
"It's unfortunate that I didn't understand the limitations," she said in the phone call. "I thought we had the same power of clemency we had in the U.S."

Who is 'we'?

It shows a lack of knowledge of Canada's political system when Daniel thinks Fox News should be her guideline. The emails from political staffers were not sent without some direction from a supervisor or a senior public figure such as the Premier or a Cabinet Minister.

I cannot see a public inquiry of wrong doing happening until there is a change in the governing party.

I think the public inquiry will be the election. We know what happened to the last guy who tried to look into the wrongdoing of the Alberta Government.

Lethbridge UCP candidate Torry Tanner's claims against teachers disputed

$1:
A United Conservative Party candidate in Lethbridge claims teachers are exposing students to pornography and gender reassignment without parental knowledge.

Torry Tanner made the allegations in a recent video she posted to social media.

"We are seeing increasing instances where kids, even those attending kindergarten, are being exposed to pornographic materials," Tanner said in the video.

"Having teachers help them change their gender identity with absolutely no parental consent or knowledge whatsoever," Tanner went on to say in the video.

Tanner is vying for a seat to represent Lethbridge-West in Alberta's legislature but her comments are being called out as blatant misinformation.

"It's disingenuous, it creates a level of mistrust within my colleagues within the teaching profession and it's unacceptable behaviour," said Jason Schilling, president of the Alberta Teachers Association.

Alberta teachers say the video is offensive and makes extremely false claims.

Albertans with low credit, savings stuck repaying $200 million cap on regulated rates: report

$1:
Albertan households with low credit and small savings will be hit hardest by the consequences of the UCP's cap on the regulated rate option (RRO) for electricity, which will be lifted at the end of this month, according to a new report from the University of Calgary's School of Public Policy.

To deal with rising electricity bills through the winter, the province brought in a temporary cap on regulated rates — to 13.5 cents per kilowatt hour — between January and March.

Any costs above that were set aside to be repaid later.

According to the report, the three-month price cap came at a cost of $200 million. It will be repaid by raising the RRO rates between April 2023 to December 2024.
