So far it's been one every day.

I doubt the 2 in the house were innocent victims, considering he was able to chase, disarm and shoot the other shooter. I'm betting all of them show up "known to police" with a long list of past or present charges.

What the F@#K has gotten into Vancouver these days... besides the obvious (guns gangs)... out in Halifax it's swarming beatings amongst teens... suddenly I feel much safer here

seriously, there is way more profit to gain from XTC than from pot.

I don't think the product is in the same catagory.
Pot can be viewed as a nice relaxing beer or glass of quality wine while a pill is either an everclear and jellow shooter or dog piss.
While the pills cost less to make and the profit is potentially higher for a short term, the customers are not as steady or reliable.

I don't think people would kill over pot. They do over XTC.

Is it you're intention to convince me that pot is not a part of this gang power struggle?

I have no idea what they are struggling over. I don't really care either, as long as they keep it amongst themselves, and keep in behind closed doors. Which of course they do not.

Just don't make this a pot legalization issue. There is no reason to link these killings with legalizing or not legalizing pot.

We assume it is drug/gang related. We don't know. When I hear "drug related" though, I think coke, XTC or other hard drugs. Not pot. I have never seen shootings over pot (in pot country Holland that is).
