Don't thank Christ. Thank a growing wave of socialism. Which is more frightening: Liberal minority or an NDP government? The table is clearly tilting when a blue-to-the-core riding like Waterloo votes orange. It's very odd for a Conservative to view this as something to be thankful for.

I don't think we'll go from a third party status NDP to a governing NDP next election.

If we (Ontario voters) are dumb enough to put them back at the top... we deserve everything we get.

Well, it's nice to see Dalton with egg on his face. He thinks he's buying a Tory seat by appointing Witmer a cushy job to force the by-election, then it blows up like a novelty cigar. At least one group of Ontario voters proved themselves pretty smart (I was going to say "witty", but that would have been the lamest pun ever).

This by-election just proves something. Tim Hudak needs to go.

I'm sure he's a nice guy, but he's about as personable and likeable as a wasp nest.
