Politicians may have lying down to an art form but it's an important part of being a social animal. If we didn't lie then we'd never get along. I remember listening to a podcast on this subject at some point... wish i could remember where.
In any case it's nice to hear candid commentary like this from time to time just to get a feel for how people really think.

True, they elected him but as Sarkozy, Bill Clinton and Barak Obama will agree with he is less than an unmitigated joy to work with.
