Christ, I tell people I get fucking cold sores just out of good concience and coureousy. Should be a legal obligation to inform anyone about any form of STD you have. And depending on the STD, if there is risk you may have been in contact with it before but didn't neccisarily test positive for it yourself.

If people had any common decency and concern for their partners this shouldn't have been an issue but, since there are alot of people who don't, I guess we need the government tell them they have to.

Not that it'll do much good anyway since the only way you'll likely ever find out your partner was infected is when the doctor tell you that unless your related to Magic Johnson, you're pretty much boned.

Those HIV+ should be obligated to inform sexual partners of their status unless the risk is completely eliminated.
