I really like my LED's. They have this nice, blue-ish white glow that really lights up the room.

They're brighter, last longer and use less electricity. That is a lot of win for me.

Oh relax. The article isn't saying not to put up lights, it's only pushing LEDs, and why not. They use less electricity, last longer, safer, and look great.

Lightly waving a finger at the people who set up massive annoying displays with awful canned music, thousands of lights, and more fake plastic snowmen and Santas than a Crappy Tire store is alright as well.

Hey man, that's your pregorative. The typical family Christmas light display will cost $1.30 with LEDs and $113.40 with the old style bulbs (according to Men's Health magazine).

You choose which option is better for you. I opted for LEDs years ago for that very reason.

I have LEDs up around my hottub all year. They give off a nice, soft lighting that's ideal for romancing the old-girl out of her bikini.

Couldn't agree Lem. They are a great mode light because they, I'm speculating, have a more natural glow to them. And unlike fluorescent lights they don't give me headaches. Plus they don't get as hot as a regular light. So, yea. LED all the way. I'm happy the street lights and traffic lights have begun to change to LED.

Also makes her wrinkles less noticeable, too.

A crucial thing if you are spending a lot of time in the hot tub.
