He's had 200 successful jumps. This happens to able bodied people too. No Darwin award here. At least he died doing what he loved. Better than being hit by a bus. (Well except maybe if you're having sex with Amy Adams in the middle of the road.)

I've had a parachute strapped to my ass 3 times and never had to use it. Technically it was 2 times.........because the last one was an ejection seat.

Seems to me that even going skydiving (a somewhat risky hobby to begin with), without the ability to use ones arms and legs is just asking for trouble.
