I agree with ridenrain. Vancouver is a hole. Crime, drugs. It's an eyesore to look at it and the people that live there are stupid. It costs a mint just to live in a hovel. That whole bit about mountains--baloney. It's flat and barren. If I were you, I'd just stay away from here, far, far away.

but according to the last MasterCard'index for the commercial city centers, Vancouver was ranked 37 while it was 28 last year, Montreal slumped from 27th to 32 & Toronto from 12 to 13th, among 75 international cities.
London ranked 1st, New York 2nd, then respectively Tokyo, Singapour, Chicago, Hon Kong Paris & Frankfort

Depends on what specific Criteria is used to Rank. Not really sure what "commercial city centers" means. Perhaps Corporate Head Offices?

Vancouver is a great city, but ya, it's expensive.

OHHH i totally agree....Everyone should just stay away...actually everyone who didnt grow up here should leave too...it sucks living here, mountains yeah right they have bigger mountains in Sask

Guy at work had his car broken into this morning by addicts looking for change again. Property crimes like that are often un reported and even still, we're right up their with Miami.

I love BC but Vancouver is a mess and it's just getting worst.

I find it funny how I never heard of these reports till I moved to Toronto. They always had these reports how TO was a world class city, since being on this site I find that Vancouverites have the same inferiority complex, that they must have these cheesy reports to make themsleves feel better about where they live.
