Yeah, I'm surprised all the late night comedians aren't making fun of Obama. It must be that "Liberal Media Bias" at work once again.
I mean, first they failed to make fun of Clinton's balanced budgets, successful foreign policy initiatives, and peaceful decade of prosperity, and now, they're
afraid to make fun of Obama for putting the brakes on rapacious Wall Street greed, taxing the top 1 per cent of income earners in the country while giving everyone else a tax break, and launching a stimulus package that the Republicans were mostly in favour of before they got routed in November. Add to that the fact he's indicated a desire to reign in spending by the end of his tenure, something so-called conservatives like Dick Cheney scoffed at while they were running the show
http://www.washingtonpost.com/ac2/wp-dy ... ge=printer and I can see why the Ditto-Heads are pissed off.
NOT!
Newsflash, the reason Bush took alot of comedic heat had nothing to do with a "Liberal Bias", and everything to do with his malapropisms, disasterous foreign excursions, irresponsible spending, and moronic voter base.
Obama's honeymoon will end, but at the moment, there's still an awful lot to sneer at when it comes to eight years of Bush failures, and not much to make fun of when it comes to a successful, charismatic, young black President a month into the job.
But don't worry, it won't last. Sooner or later, Obama's shine will fade. And unless the Republicans are dumb enough to throw Palin into the mix again, the jokes about him will come. After all, they were dining out on Clinton every night by the end of his mandate.
