The only thing Tim Hortons needs to do is have owners or managers that have half a brain or some common sense.

I think this is bullshit myself, if the meal was purchased then the person is allowed to eat there. Regardless of if they are homeless. It's completly stupid, it's a fucking homeless human being. Not a drug dealer, or a fucking bank robber.

She bought the woman food... 'bought it' and she gets fired over that?

Oh and Kenmore that TimHortons was a franchise. Not the actual TimHortons. Got to boycott that specific one.

point here is that someone didnt like her eating there.. there is a tim hortons a few minutes walk from the psych hospital here.. the patients buy coffee there all the time.. I only know of one problem in 10yrs it has been there.. in Ottawa there are homeless people who hang outside a tim hortons and collect money.. they go in, buy coffee etc and leave. tims hortons if a long shot from a 5 star restaurant... they dont mind taking the money from homeless street people.. there should be some backlash for timmies..

I can see both sides of the arguement, they should treat all people as equals, but if they let standards inside their shops slide no one will use their cafes. Does anybody really appreciate sitting next to a dirty smelly person while they are eating or drinking, whether they are homeless or not? Not me and if we are honest no one does. What's the answer .....I don't have one.

Thats the beauty of capitalism. You can vote with your wallet. A decrease in revenue will smarten them up lest they lose a more or less loyal customer base to Mr. C or Coffee Time.

You have to read all the details before judging about what happened.

The woman that was given the hot breakfast was a person who caused trouble in that particular Tim's.

I am not in agreement with how Tim Hortons has reacted to these recent incidents and court challanges. The problem seems to be with the people who are running these individual stores.

Pay for good people who know how to treat people and use common sense, and maybe things like this will not happen.

Good service should be given at all times, no matter what the business!!!!!!

I don't know how many people remember the Chinese buffet chain Foody Goody, but the bums used to hit these places quite frequently because they were all you can eat. I remember going to one in Victoria(I think it was on Fort, but I'm not sure), and having a couple of .....fragrant, soap challenged, domicile deficient individuals who sat across from us. To this day I remember one saying to the other, "George, you're supposed to use a fork not your hands, this is a classy place not a doughnut shop!" I don't know which was funnier, referring to Foody Goody as classy or admonishing him for his table etiquette.
