Vehicular manslaughter, the guy should be tossed in a prison and forgotten about.

Why is it, if you kill a person with a gun vs. a car you have such vastly different punishments. He was negligent in his actions which resulted in the death of a women.

Well he will probably be around for a few years waiting deportation. When I worked for Corrections the institution I worked in was full of people waiting deportation.. waiting years. I am glad they upheld this though..they should give them 24 hrs to get out of the country if they are found guilty of a criminal offence. this should apply to all immigrants who are here less than 10 yrs

It apply to all immigrants period already, unless you are a naturalized citizen.

PR holders have always been subject to the possibility of deportation if they commit a criminal offense.

Under the new rules of immigration you can not get your citizenship faster than 5 years now anyway.

Anyway, this kid didn't get his citizenship automatically at 18, because he hadn't lived in the country 5 years prior to his 18th birthday. If he had, we would not have been able to send him back.
