That is way to vague and arbitrary. That means for example, that if the police don't like you taking photos in any particular area, that they can arrest you without a warrant for "planning a terrorist attack". That is a tool for police intimidation, rather than any tool against terorism.

Yeah I have to say I don't like this. They should just create a judicial oversight on these matters so at least, it is somewhat 'impartial'.

I don't like the sounds of this legislation at all.

While I would agree on the surface, it made no difference when the previous PM used the RCMP to interfere with bank managers, APEC protestors or Syrian born terrorist suspects.

If we can add the Vancouver drug gangs to the terrorist list, we could solve things quite quickly. :D
