Sorry, the 2nd poll is regarding Cadman, and the 3rd poll is regarding NAFTA-gate.

First poll is just the national numbers.

Those numbers are constant with the polls in the past 6 months. The other polls had a 5% error margin so there are no real differences I think.

The Strategic Counsel has a tendency to show the conservatives a bit higher than other pollsters. As for their accuracy you'd have to ask someone else about that as I'm not really sure what their track record is.

Good numbers.
With Dion running scared of an election and Harper getting things done with the other parties, this is better than expected. Even if we run all the way to the election date, the people of Canada saw a Conservative minority government getting it done while they see the Liberals whining and crying but refusing to stand and vote.

another reason as to why dion does not want an election rate now, even afetr all the nonesense in the house of commons the reality is the average voter does not watch that stuff anyways , so its hard for opposition parties to make traction .
he is just not connecting with people and lacks any reason as to why he should become anything more than oppositon leader. but he lives to fight another election as to when is anyones guess .

If they are doing such a fantastic job for Canadians then why are those numbers not on the rise? They have not changed in the entire time they have been in power.

That was always a hard fought riding in any election campaign. but it always ends up as Liberal. Besides come on are you going to base your entire argument on one riding. Get real!

If you prefer I can base my arguements on Dion's lack luster leadership.

well in fairness the polls have been all over the place , but in terms of actual seats the conservatives have gradually been going up with recent by-election wins in churchill river and roberval, quebec , plus joe comuzzi and wajid khan defections .

the liberals have been going down with by-election loses in outremont , churchill river , lose of joe comuzzi and wajid khan defected , lucienne robilard left , few other plan to leave before summer .
one in guelph plans to leave soon and conservatives are rumoured to be considering a by-election rate away if she leaves before summer and there is no election before then.

No that has been covered by you guys ad nausea. Just answer the question if you can. It is very interesting that all of you CONartist Party supporters would rather spin & deflect then acknowledge the fact that there is no growth in your Party's polling due to your brilliant governing of Canada over the last two years.

Conservatives should not be too pleased with the numbers. What is troubling is that the Liberals are polling roughly 30% consistently and this is absolute hardcore support that won't change in spite of the past scandals, corruption, and an obvious joke of a leader orchestrating perhaps the most impotent opposition in parliamentary history. This is one of the reasons the Liberals aren't worried about losing anymore support because they figure they've hit rock bottom.

All the Liberals need to do is bring in Ignatieff and they'll be polling 40+ in a week with maybe half the gains coming off the Conservatives. I'd feel a lot better if the "I'll vote Liberal at any cost" support was around 15% and the soft vote was going across party lines.
