Yah, the wind chill should not be mentioned so we can make more money at the ski lifts and so what if a few people lose their lives over this?

Why?
People are just too f*ckin stupid. Going skiing with -5 temps and full sun might sound nice, but if you have a little bit more wind than 0, you freeze your freakin head off.

where as people here know that if they are gonna go skiing in -25 degrees, theres no skin exposed. you can do anything in any temperature as long as you dress for it

Read my first (full) sentence... "People are just too f*ckin stupid"

If you don't think it will be -25 (with windchill) and the weather said its only -5...

I live 25 kms from the skimountain, and it is WAY colder up there than it is here. Yet, the weather forecast is not solely based on the mountain...

For real...

I went snowboarding when it was -26(C) with high winds. I just wore 2 pairs of gloves, t shirt, sweat shirt, jacket, wool socks, and a full fur hat with the eat flaps (whatever you guys call those), and my helmet....I couldnt move that well but I wasn't cold at all :D

The funny thing is though, I didn't fall that day and I even tried the roller coaster rail [drool]

But then a week ago when it was 4(C) I went in a t-shirt and jeans and I fell really bad scrapping up my back.

Yeah we still have about 1.5 months of winter left :?

March-May and end of September-October are like "ok...is it even going to be warm today"? Then June-August just fly by.

Upper Wisconsin sucks.
