Of course they're gonna post a loss. EVERY corporation on earth, even the ones in fine shape, are going to "post a loss" so they can cue up for a teat. It's a global BAIL-OUT-MANIA. Problems is, there's too many pigs for the tits.

How long has GM been in existence?
How many years has GM been profitable? How many years have they been unprofitable?

Doesn't change the fact that the current state of GM is their fault, not the economy's. They have nobody to blame but them and don't deserve billions of bailout cash.

That is your opinion of which you are entitled but please stop spewing it off as fact...!!!! Your gleeful obsession with a Make Me Laughs three game winning streak is clouding your reasoning....

Well then do you care to explain then how GM managed to get this way then since I am so obviously wrong? You don't seem to be offering anything concrete yourself. Other then the usual sovereignty and ricer nonsense.

WTF do the Leafs have ANYTHING to do with this? and for the record I am pissed that they are now winning because of their draft chances getting blown to shit. But I digress and will stay on topic.

What's more important in business: today or ancient history? Manufacturing horse drawn carriages, hand powered washing machines, cigarettes and rotary telephones was once profitable.

Ancient history? WTF does Babylon, Mesopotamia or Olmec history have to do with GM?

Or are you suggesting we won't need cars in the next 5, 10 or 20 years?

I'm suggesting that what we will be driving in 5, 10 or 20 years MAY be manufactured by Toyota but WON'T be manufactureed by GM, Chrysler or Ford.

In 20 years time? IF we continue to put consumer greed before need of nation we will all be driving Chery (China) or Tata Motor (India) cars... Hondas and Toyotas future is even more uncertain then General Motors...
