And there you have it. My point about the lack of leadership or actual authority in Ottawa proven to a "T". Commander spineless has created another constitutional crisis with his inability to show any type of leadership or negotiating skills. My guess is that when he took a page out of his fathers book about dividing Canada he forgot to read the part that said "between the east and west" because he's managed to piss off two parts of the country that are attached by geography and party affiliation. XD

You can't buy your way out of failure. Spending untold taxpayer dollars to buy a necessary and legally allowed pipeline just so you can claim you won, when you're just actually to spineless to use the constitution as designed to bring rebellious underlings to heel isn't a great solution, it's a failure of leadership plain and simple.

Horgan is in a lose-lose situation. He will NOT win this battle. The line is going through. Good news for the country and the province.

Good God, you still think it's a win or lose scenario.
Do you think the BC NDP really cares of they lose a court decision or get overruled by the feds? They promised to oppose the pipeline, which they'll have done, not promise to stop it for sure.
And the absolute commitment to ship that resource as raw as possible as fast as possible, extracting as little value as possible sure as hell isn't something to celebrate.

You really don't understand the Green Party do you? The NDP may be realtively sane and willing to abide by the rule of law but, Weaver and crowd sure as hell aren't and likely won't. So, given that they're the key to Horgan's ability to maintain power they are the ones calling the shots, unless of course, Horgan decides to break with the puppet master and try and rule the province with less MLA's than the Liberals. Something that isn't likely to happen.

So, it's not just people like me who thinks this is a win lose scenario it's all the assholes like that twit Elizabeth May who are illegally blocking the building of the pipeline and claiming that they hold the moral high ground because of their twisted and warped logic that if you don't like or want something, beneficial or not, the rest of the country, world, planet and universe had better cave to your desires.

Quote:
No amount of incentives will coerce the British Columbian government to back down from their fight against the Trans Mountain pipeline expansion, according to the Green party leader.

When did Weaver become the leader and speak for the Gov't of BC? But a question. Does that statement sound like something the Leader of a party with 3 members in a coalition with a minority gov't say unless of course, he actually felt he was running the Province?
