Conservative my behind, she sounds more like Lenin or Bernie Sanders. The Conservatives in Canada are a perverse group. Rather than embaracing the Charter and pushing it's virtues, they go off the rail at any opportunity.

What's wrong with this statement?
$1:
Conservative leadership candidate Kellie Leitch is praising American voters for throwing out “the elites” to elect billionaire Donald Trump to the U.S. presidency...

Well define the "elites". Just beating a democrat doesn't mean you beat elites. One could easily argue, that a wealthy billionaire businessman is an elite. What's wrong with being successful?

I might refer to lifetime career government employees as elites. By that definition, she might be suggesting the overthrow of many in her own party.

Careful how much you stoke the flames, it doesn't benefit the country to divide.

Being a Billionaire and having come from a rich family is pretty much the definition of 'elite'. I think Ms. Leitch is a little confused in her definitions. You don't 'throw out the 1%ers' and replace them with a '1%er'.

It used to be that you had to be smart to graduate from medical school.

She might be a very good Doctor. Amazingly, some people have emulated insects well and become very specialized. She may be able to deconstruct and reconstruct a human foot, but give her 6 eggs and some flour and she can't make pasta.
