For some reason the modern day Mammonites might not be telling us the full truth about this Bible book they keep talking about all the time. Hmmm...

Statement from the Press Secretary

At the request of a number of committees of Congress, and for reasons of transparency, the President has directed the Office of the Director of National Intelligence and the Department of Justice (including the FBI) to provide for the immediate declassification of the following materials: (1) pages 10-12 and 17-34 of the June 2017 application to the FISA court in the matter of Carter W. Page; (2) all FBI reports of interviews with Bruce G. Ohr prepared in connection with the Russia investigation; and (3) all FBI reports of interviews prepared in connection with all Carter Page FISA applications.

In addition, President Donald J. Trump has directed the Department of Justice (including the FBI) to publicly release all text messages relating to the Russia investigation, without redaction, of James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, and Bruce Ohr.

In Reversal, Trump No Longer Demands Declassification of Russia Documents

Sept. 21, 2018

WASHINGTON — In a rare retreat, President Trump on Friday reversed himself and said he was no longer demanding that documents related to the Russia investigation be immediately declassified and released to the public.

Taking to Twitter on Friday morning, Mr. Trump said that instead of an immediate release, Justice Department officials would review the documents, adding that “in the end I can always declassify if it proves necessary.”

@realDonaldTrump
I met with the DOJ concerning the declassification of various UNREDACTED documents. They agreed to release them but stated that so doing may have a perceived negative impact on the Russia probe. Also, key Allies’ called to ask not to release. Therefore, the Inspector General.....

....has been asked to review these documents on an expedited basis. I believe he will move quickly on this (and hopefully other things which he is looking at). In the end I can always declassify if it proves necessary. Speed is very important to me - and everyone!

Either that or someone told him that he'd end up getting a bunch of American agents and sources in Russia killed if they got exposed by the info drop. I doubt he'd care if that happened but that sort of recklessness should be left to the likes of Julian Assange and not a US president.

More like the UK and the Aussies don't want to deal with the blowback of their intelligence agencies spying on an American Presidential candidate as a favor to Hillary and Obama.

The piles of pure bullshit you people have to invent on a daily basis just to cover up the already existing piles of bullshit is just staggering. Truly.

Anti-Kavanaugh protesters confront Ted Cruz and wife at fancy DC restaurant: 'We believe survivors!'

WASHINGTON — A small flash mob protesting embattled Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh chased Sen. Ted Cruz and his wife from an upscale Italian restaurant Monday night, shouting, "We believe survivors!"

Cruz has stood by the federal appellate judge, a longtime friend, amid allegations that he sexually assaulted another high school student at a party 36 years ago.

That accuser is scheduled to testify Thursday before the Senate Judiciary Committee, on which Cruz sits, followed by Kavanaugh. The conservative judge denies the allegations.

The confirmation fight is a flash point in Cruz's re-election bid, and supporters and foes alike have kept close eye on how he handles the hearings. At a debate Friday night in Dallas, his Democratic rival, Rep. Beto O'Rourke, called for the FBI to investigate allegations that Kavanaugh sexually assaulted Christine Blasey Ford when both were students at private high schools in Washington's Maryland suburbs.

"Dr. Ford's allegations should be investigated by the FBI. Full stop," O'Rourke said.

Said Cruz: "Congressman O'Rourke doesn't want Judge Kavanaugh confirmed. He said that before these allegations, he that after these allegations. ... Congressman O'Rourke agrees with Hillary Clinton. He wants liberal activists on the court."

O'Rourke denounced the protest Tuesday. "The Cruz family should be treated with respect," he tweeted.

Also adding to the antics of the delusional left, Jimmy Kimmel is calling for his followers to castrate Judge Kavanaugh.

Quote:
Jimmy Kimmel Wants to Cut Brett Kavanaugh’s Penis Off

“Hear me out on this,” he said. “So Kavanaugh gets confirmed to the Supreme Court, OK? Well, in return we get to cut that pesky penis of his off in front of everyone.” As some members of his audience groaned, Kimmel added, “No? That’s not good? I thought I had a solution there for a minute.”

If anything happens to Judge Kavanaugh and it gets tied back to Kimmel then Kimmel might want to find a place to hide.

Could have avoided this Kavanaugh mess altogether if an actual decent person like Merrick Garland had been given a vote for SCOTUS, instead of the TeaBircher GOP using his nomination as another excuse to fuck over Obama. Image

Or any of the hundre other Federalist Society members who want to overturn Roe v Wade. But no. It has to be the one guy who says presidents should have immunity from prosecution while in office. I wonder why...

If the Democrats controlled the Senate then they could have had anyone they wanted. But they didn't and still do not control the Senate so I personally don't give a single fuck what they want nor does the Republican Party.

And if the tables were turned I'd expect the same from the Democrats considering they're the ones who threw away the old rules of the Senate that used to guarantee the minority party a voice in these nominations.

They got rid of those rules in order to fuck over the Republicans and now what they did is being used against them.

Serves them right.

On this we agree.

The rules were there for a reason. The democrats got rid of them and are now dealing with the consequence. Looks good on 'em.

Doesn't look so good for your country though.
