I started coming here, as I'm sure many have, though JJ's work, and I find the topics insightful. If you are wondering why Americans are here, the topic has been discussed at length.

No, I don't wonder why most Americans are here. Just some.

I think I have given a satisfactory answer to why I am here. You'd have to ask the others included in the some individually however.

Not really. Except maybe for Huntsman there isn't a single one of those other GOP bozos that President Obama wouldn't be able beat like a government mule. Newt For President? Ought to make Warren Harding's administration look honest by comparison if it ever happens.

Besides, in all the kvetching about the lack of a red carpet reception, it appears that some important border issues have been quietly solved. So thanks to both the PM and the President for concentrating on some important things while the rest of us were being silly for no good reason at all.

On the other side of this paradigm, a majority of Canadians supported Obama and he's managed to treat you worse than Bush did.

I think Canadians tend to respond to social philosophy rather than personality.
I figured Obama would be bad news of some sort because of his oratorical campaign style. All you could say is "Hmmm. I don't think so" because you can't see the man behind the mask for further analysis.
