Back to the article, sounds like the dog ran out and barcked at a stranger coming on to his turf... that's what dogs are supposed to do.

Any guy who feels the need to kick a two pound chihuahua is a douchebag. If I witnessed such a thing we'd be having words at least. Wether I know the dog/owner or not. I don't have a very high opinion of the folks that defend him either.

I have had many dogs of all sizes in my life, None was aggressive, or barked excessive. I have taken dogs in from shelters and in all my dealing with dogs I have only had to put down one dog that was mine own. I had only had the dog about 2 weeks and it went after a small child. It was a small dog itself. I didn't and won't keep any mean animal of any kind on my farm.

Never had to hit a dog to make them mind and learn their place. The last dog of 4 that I have now is a small dog that came from a shelter. The other 3 died of natural causes when it was their time.

A dog of any size that attacks should be put down, maybe the owners should be put down with it for not training the dog. I can't say about the owners but I can say for the dog.

This little cute puck of a dog got what it needed.
