Bullshit... CBC doesn't like Venezuela or Cuba. If you think they do, you're deluded. They recently did a story on Cuba's leaders... Saying "it was agreed they'd be re-elected" which was some serious bullshit way to say "the Countrywide democratic election is over".

CBC has called Chavez a dictator dozens of times. No tears there for him.

All depends on how you slice the numbers.

Their national GDP has been in recession since 2011 after a period of growth but their per capita GDP tells a different story:



A rising GDP coupled with declining per capita income means that all of the new money in that country is being concentrated in a few pockets and the poor are getting even poorer than they were before.
