Isn't it heartwarming to know that people convicted of gun crimes can't get guns, and always obey the court's order to never be in possetion of a gun again?

What I'd like to know is where the suspect secured the weapon so the police officer who performed the pat down weapons search couldn't find it? From all appearances it would seem given the original location of the weapon that this gentleman either has one very large well lubricated sphincter or the police officer who performed the search is the most incompetent bozo in modern policing history.

I'm also quite surprised that this guy didn't end up with a very large hole in his chest after pulling a stunt like that.

Come on folks, they forgot to do the search, it's a gun, a bloody gun, you can`t hide it much. I would better like to see the video where they do the first search.

Forgot to search the guy. And out west they forgot to lock the door at a murder scene and someone pulled a B&E, stole between 15-20K of goods, fubar'd the crime scene.

Given instances like this and the one you mentioned, I'm beginning to have serious doubts about the training and calibre of police officers we're hiring in Canada.
