Look, the war on this issue is lost and the bad guys won. As long as it doesn't happen in Canada I'm not going to get wound up by the internal pathologies of Americans. Their country, their rules, their fantasy-land "right" to shoot each other by the thousands every year for the rest of forever if this is what they find entertaining to do. If a class full of toddlers getting turned into hamburger a few years back wasn't enough to change their minds on this behaviour then no other shooting incident will either. It's not our problem to fix. If Americans don't care anymore, or have been terrorized into some kind of numb compliance, then why in the hell should anyone else?
