Just because we have done this before...

Feel free to share your results if you wish.

I ended up almost dead center of the chart with very close % result to 4 of the parties with a slight edge going to Conservative.

As of today I am still undecided as to how I'm going to vote.

Just a bit right of Centre, both economically and socially... the highest agreement with any party is 59% but there's actually no party close to me.

That's why I'm voting Rhino. :D

EDIT: See that, Fiddle. I am not a Prog!!!

Got placed in between the Libs and Cons, which is stupid because most of answers I gave were favouring Bernier. I dismiss this poll altogether because nothing I chose indicated either social or economic conservative. Wanting stronger national security and less freebies for bogus asylum seekers isn't social conservatism, it's basic goddamn common sense IMO.

Sounds about right. I expected to be a bit further to the left on the social. But this is probably weighing against Canadians as a whole, and we tend to be more socially liberal.

Edit, Grey dot in the middle.

57% Liberal, 52% cons.

 This election sucks.

Not surprising is it. ROTFL

But what I found interesting was the 39% agreement with the Liberals, which likely means that I hate their current leader considerably more than their party. [but]

N_Fiddledog N_Fiddledog:
Progs. :D

If this were the 1950's you'd be:

a) calling Curtis LeMay a prog
b) calling Dwight Eisenhower a commie
c) listening to Walter Winchell every night and writing down talking points from him
d) sending a fan-letter to Tailgunner Joe every week
e) asking Roy Cohn for his autograph
f) all five above, plus numerous more

Stay hilarious, Fiddy.

No problem, and you keep worrying about the chaos you think I might cause in the 1950's because who knows? Somebody might invent a time machine and that might become an issue. PDT_Armataz_01_25

absolutely despise these kinds of compasses

"How liberal are you, on a scale of liberal to liberal?
[liberal] [liberal] [liberal] [liberal] [liberal] [don't know]"

whaddya mean you can't be damned to include the other little parties? this is the box you live in folks, don't even think of bothering with anything else. your voice is simply one of these five flavours of capitalism, every five-ish years

it's so insufferable

anyway i did actually do the stupid test

How much financial assistance should the federal government provide to first-time home buyers?
lmfao

How much influence should unions have?
all of it.

Single-use plastic should be banned immediately (e.g., straws, grocery bags, etc.).
How much should Canada do to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions?

wildly gunna guess "strongly agree/much more" doesn't carry with it the connotation that this problem will require the overthrow of capitalism or else we're just gunna continue the death march to oblivion despite our green coloured pieces of junk

Quebec should become an independent state.
i mean - yea - but not the bloc lmao

How much should the government do to make amends for past treatment of Indigenous peoples in Canada?
simple. first, cede british columbia

Canada should end its ties to the monarchy.
lets fucking party

The government should guarantee a minimum income for all Canadians, regardless of whether or not they have a job.
lol

The Canadian government should stand up to countries that commit human rights abuses, even if it puts Canada's economic interests at risk.
The United States?

Canada's human rights laws should require that trans persons be referred to by their preferred gender pronoun.
jesus fucking christ what a weird-ass question, who is campaigning for specifically this. this a thing to weed out the PPC nuts? no one's been convicted under bill c-16 u god damn nerds

The federal government should impose a carbon tax on provinces without a tax of their own.
kill me

How easy should it be to qualify for Employment Insurance?
this is too funny.

The federal cabinet should be evenly split between women and men.
the problem, but it's coloured pink. that'll fix it. pink and green, the proud colours of capitalism's pathetic non-attempt at saving itself.

all the politicos got a 0 on every question. it's not an easy job but someone's gotta do it.

turns out the cpc(ml) used to run here but it's a party of geriatric boomers at this point and they're all dying off so there really isn't anyone to vote for here lol

~results~

Image

the 3d thing says i'm super for decentralization, probably because of the monarchy and quebec.seemed like a bit of a tacky add-on that just made it more glaringly obvious that it doesn't ask any real questions

Economically, I'm centre. Socially, somehow; I'm super Conservative. I'm not far off FOG's results.

I like seeing how people *think* I am, based on canned questions.
