There is. The intel and sensitive equipment aboard are toast but the materials and alloys used in the construction of the drone will make for years of study in Russia and China.

Agreed. A drone is no F117 in Bosnia. A bit of tempest in a teapot me thinks.

Fact is, when you use advanced technology, there is an expectation that it may fall into enemy hands through combat losses. As the good Dr said, I doubt there's much there they don't already know, and if there is some technological revelation waiting for them, then shame on the US for not planning for that contingency.

Considering the latest Iranian "cruise missile" or whatever the hell that V-1 rocket looking thing was they proudly revealed to the world recently, the worst they could do is sell it to the Chinese. And knowing the Chinese, they probably already have a grasp of the technology.
