He could learn to make his package more for his country only. Since Harper is planning to ride on his coat-tail.

I find that hard to believe since 'much' of Canada is already riding on his coat-tails. Gotta get me an Obama T-shirt....

I was watching the news today where places in Canada have Obama food for when he comes. Like the Obama beaver tail, or Obama Burger. Seriously Canada, that's fucking pathetic. No wonder we look like the USA's monkey boy.

Time to separate real Canadians from the pretenders and see if they go south to live under the umbrella of Obama.

It's funny how the tide has turned. Any time Harper made nice with the Americans we'd have people on here calling him Bush's lap dog(ya you Kenmore). Now left wing Canadians can't get enough of their new American mesiah.

It works the other way as well.

This is a bit loaded. I'm sure Canada has certain banking regulations that are more ably structured than the equivalent in the US, but I would like to see specifics of which regulations before blindly signing on to follow another country's policies.

Plenty of Right-Wingers on CKA are (were) huge fans of Bush.

Why fucking prance around it?

The Americans amuse us. We like it when they do something we like.

And it's hard not to notice Obama. If Harper stood next to Obama, it would look like putting a comedic hack next to George Carlin.

Remember, the majority of Canada is left-wing. I don't think it's unusual that the only Left-Wing force in North America right now is getting a lot of praise from us.

It's jsut the way shit works. It's nothign new, you know. Our politics haven't been exciting since the Coalition Scare. What the hell else are we going to do? Look at Norway's political situations?

I have a theory: Canadians are bored. Not boring, but bored.

And we'll take excitement where we can get it.

If Harper coudl pull a "Yes we can" speech out of his ass, we wouldn't need to look at Obama.

We've been bored since the end of Trudeaumania.

There's a difference between being a fan, and creating Obama foods and organizing buses to Ottawa to have a chance to see Obama for about 5 seconds.

Other then being the first black president, tell us what Obama has done to deserve this adoration?
