Maybe this is just my sterotypical Eastern bias and lack of understanding about redneck Western politics, but "Wildrose"? Isn't that the gayest name ever for a political party? Wasn't there even a lame-ass CBC soap-drama called "Wildrose", or some shit like that? Seriously, how could any red-blooded, straight cowboy vote for someone running for the Wildrose party?

I guess 'Brokeback Mountain' played to wider appeal out west than I'd have imagined.
